Denise King has over 35 years of design experience with a background in graphic design, interior design, space-planning and facilities management. She went on to integrate her design know-how with her passion for gardening and horticulture, graduating from the Radcliffe Landscape Design Program in Cambridge, MA. She began her own firm in 1994, after gaining experience as a designer with a landscape design/build and maintenance company.
Since then, Denise has focused on residential landscape design and garden maintenance for homes and historic gardens. Known for her 'attention to details' and project management skills, she has also planned and installed commercial projects for banks, churches and corporate offices.
In 2007 she was awarded the Outstanding Riverbend Volunteer Award for her instrumental work in designing and planting the new native plant garden and rain garden at Riverbend, the new headquarters of the Ipswich River Watershed Association.
